General practitioners in the United Kingdom, which is the physician doctors, are having a hard time with people coming to them hoping to get injury claims. The trouble here is however that most of these people are simply exaggerating their injuries trying to milk out more money. A recent survey made clear this point and brought things to light.
On an average about nine of every ten practitioners are having a tough time with similar cases. Quite a few of the claimants were actually not injured in the first place. This has greatly risen in numbers over the past two years all the more even as car insuring companies are getting worried about this.
While the “no win no fee” services as offered by lawyers was also to be blamed partly here. What is even more interesting is the mind boggling sum of £80 million in advertising that was spent by personal injury lawyers in the past two years itself.
The survey actually had confessions coming in from people who admitted to trying their luck at getting the personal injury claims plainly after watching these advertisements. One in six of them confessed to doing so. Here the insurance premium is also pushed up as the added sum required to pay the lawyers is 87 pence for every £1. Thus the insurers are crying foul play and are furious.

DANIEL DAY-LEWIS SISTER HAS A CLOSE SHAVE WITH DEATH
A terrible car crash which shouldn’t have seen a survivor actually had none other than the sister of leading Hollywood star Danial Day Lewis cheat it. Tamasin Day Lewis who is a documentary film maker cheated death big time even as she was driving the car on a chilly and icy road not far away from her home in West England.
